Job Description

We are a highly successful subsidiary of a major US Company, recognised as a leader in the manufacture of aerospace fasteners, supplying all the major airframe and aero-engine companies throughout the world.

We require an experienced Production Scheduler working on day shift.

Duties to include MSA system operations for both forging and finishing cells, providing information and progressing WIP to daily work-to-lists, maintaining the MRP Systems, interfacing with master scheduling and sales co-ordinators.

Ensuring material and tooling is available and allocated to relevant orders scheduled to maximise utilisation of machines and labour.

Person Specification

Also responsible for recommending changes to manufacturing orders with regard to batch quantities, forecast and lead times. Identifying abnormal orders that need special attention and communicating this to other departments in a timely manner

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate should preferably have production scheduling experience and knowledge of tooling and material processing. You must also understand the quality procedures, have the ability to interrogate processes and must be able to work on your own initiative.
