Job Description

My client is looking for an experienced, forward thinking, individual with a degree in Graphic Design and significant experience of working within a design studio environment to work at their offices in Leicester. You should have a flexible approach to working hours.

Person Specification

You should be well organised with strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are achieved.

An ability to work on your own initiative with excellent idea, identity and design skills.

A broad range of ability & experience e.g. B2B & B2C.

You should be a real people person who is easily trusted and can be persuasive.

It goes with out saying that you should be hard working with a passion for creative work.

Good interpersonal skills are needed to be able to communicate clearly with a range of people at all levels.

Do you enjoy multi tasking with several projects running at a time and working as a team?

Qualifications & Experience

There a few essential requirements of the right person:

Do you have significant experience of working within a design studio environment?

Are you fully conversant with Apple Mac computers and relevant software packages- In particular Quark Xpress and Photoshop?

You should have excellent creative & design skills with the ability to put these across to clients to produce high quality promotional materials.

Strong eye for detail including ability to proof read quickly and effectively.

Have you got a good understanding of all elements of graphic design including typography, page layout, knowledge of colour systems, eg Pantone, CMYK, RGB etc and of print processes and file types, eg litho, digital, eps, pdfs, etc?

Along with experience of working in a customer faced environment?

Salary Package

You will be paid at an hourly rate of £12.50 per hour.
