Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Controls Draughts-person to join a successful company with a truly global presence based in Leicestershire.

Person Specification

Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you will be responsible for the:

Preparation of wiring layouts, circuit diagrams, assembly and detailed drawings

Creation of bills of materials for the company ERP system

Creation of assosiated engineering documents in accordance with Company and client standards

Participate in small multi-disciplined teams producing designs in support of our product range

Qualifications & Experience

Ideally be a time served engineering apprentice, with at least five years additional design and draughting experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment. You will be qualified to at least ONC/HNC level in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or similar), and fully proficient in the use of ME10 drawing software.

Training will be offered to the most suitable candidate that is proficient in AutoCAD .The idea person should be self motivated, and be able to work under their own initiative, and at the same time be a team player capable of communicating effectively with other departments within the Company.

You will be knowledgeable in both modern and traditional manufacturing methods, including light fabrication, control panel wiring and be able to demonstrate experience in circuit diagrams and fabricated items.

Salary Package
