Job Description
With over 30 years experience specialising in the Commercial Insurance Sector, My client is a leading Independent Insurance Broker in the the Leicester area and are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler
Person Specification
My client is looking for an experienced account handler.
During Insurance Programme administration of a portfolio of commercial clients your duties will consist of.
Processing of Renewals and mid-term Amendments
Day to day handling of Client queries via telephone, email, fax or post
Broking including preparing Broking Presentations and negotiating renewal terms with Insurers
Preparation of Client Renewal Reports
Dealing with new business quotations from existing clients, and new clients when required
Preparation and issue of Demands and Needs Statements, Terms of Business letters
Handling renewal documentation such as Proposal Forms, arranging Surveys
Issue of Motor Cover Notes/Certificates and Confirmation of Insurance letters
Checking and issue of Policy Documentation
Preparing Client Registers of Insurance
Preparation of own letters etc. on Microsoft Word etc.
Premium invoicing and issue of Client Statement of accounts, and credit control when required
Maintaining Client Files and Computer System (MISYS) Records

Qualifications & Experience
ACII or CII Qualified (or working towards)
Minimum of 3 years commercial broking experience

22-23k plus annual bonus and Holidays
